hi julene i am from tahiti polynesia and i was searching for calligraphy when i discover your work.
It is such amazing and great but you must spend a lot of time for cuting paper i’d like to the same but i think it will be harder. your gifts are realy great. Bye
I had a birthday present to make for someone special and I was trying to think of what to make. I remembered the phrase ‘The Bees Knees’ and felt it was appropriate. Cutting the phrase out of paper just came to me one morning and I was hopeful I would be able to pull it off with years of textile design experience. That, and a steady hand of course! I showed the finished article to friends online, who showed friends and it has just snowballed. There are four more finished Papercuts but I cannot add them to the blog until after they have been given as birthday presents/wedding gifts/and something else exciting which I am not able to disclose yet I’m frustrated to say!
I’m very excited to be working on all my new commissions.
