Commission a one-off paper cut

These pieces are lovingly hand-cut by me and are completely customisable – I can decorate them with hearts, stars and flowers or with any other motifs/imagery you would like. Personal commissions can be based on whatever you want – some meaningful words, a portrait of a loved one or a beautiful illustration. I’m also happy to take on commercial projects. Content and style

Words – I can put anything you would like to say in a paper cut. Four to ten words look best on at the most popular A4 (8″x10″) size but there is space for more on a bigger piece. You could take a line or two from a poem or a song from your wedding, or a phrase which means something special to you.

Portraits – Put your friend, sister, lover or the bride and groom to be in a paper cut. All I need are a few photos of the subject. Dates, names, etc can be added the border.

Illustration – Everything and anything else! If you have an idea for something you’d like to see in a papercut let me know – I’m sure we can make it happen.

Paper cuts can be created in a variety of sizes and shapes – large, small, square, circular, heart shaped… anything really. And they are not limited to white paper. Your favourite line from a song in your favourite colour? No problem.

Delivery, postage and packaging

Let me know your deadline when you first enquire about a paper cut – I want to make sure that everyone gets theirs by the time they need it.

I am based in London and can ship almost anywhere. As a guide, a standard 8″x10″ (A4) piece delivered to the US by DHL worldwide express service costs around £20 to £25 (GBP). Special delivery in the UK costs around £7 (GBP). Madebyjulene is not responsible for lost or stolen shipments, including international shipping.

Paper cuts are sold unframed and are delivered to you in cardboard envelopes designed to protect them the rough hands of postal workers.
